The problem

AI is in the engineering process. Assessments have not changed.

Assessments under ASPICE 4.0, ISO 26262, ISO/SAE 21434, UN R155 and UN R156 still ask for traceable, independently reviewed evidence. A function an AI assistant wrote, with no record of the model, the prompt, or who reviewed it, is a finding waiting to be written.

How it works

Record the AI artefact when it's produced, not when it's inspected.

  1. 01

    Capture

    Each AI-generated artefact in scope is recorded with the model, prompt and raw response its tools expose, imported from their logs or captured through the API; anything missing is marked. An editor extension that captures live, signed with a key that stays on the engineer's machine, is in development and not yet released.

  2. 02

    Timestamp

    Every entry is hash-chained and externally timestamped by two independent authorities, normally within 15 minutes of capture. The published open-source verifier checks the chain and every timestamp in an exported bundle.

    Confirm

    Rules suggest the clauses each artefact may be evidence for. Named people review the artefacts and decide which suggestions stand; the record shows who reviewed, when, and whether reviewer and author differ.

    Gap register

    The deliverable: the evidence an assessor will not find, each gap with a cause and an owner.

Underneath is a general evidence-integrity record: every capture, review and export is an entry in an append-only, hash-chained ledger, and an exported bundle carries every entry needed to check the chain. As EU AI Act obligations develop, the same record of model, prompt, response and human review is available as evidence.

Why Domokos

The record-holder has no stake in the verdict.

A record is only worth auditing if whoever holds it gains nothing from the outcome. These are the commitments of the Domokos Neutrality Charter v2.0:

  • will notTake revenue of any kind from assessment bodies, notified bodies or technical services while serving organisations they assess
  • will notConduct assessments or issue conformity statements
  • will notReview or attest anything Domokos built for a client
  • will notTake investment, equity or revenue-for-influence from an assessment body, notified body, technical service, Tier 1 supplier or vehicle software producer, or be majority-owned by one

Ádám Domokos also builds software for clients as an independent engineer, at agreed rates (the Engineering engagement). What he builds for a client is never reviewed or attested by Domokos.

Nothing from any consulting or engineering engagement enters the Domokos finding corpus: the corpus schema rejects such rows at the write boundary, and a test proves it.

Stating this is cheaper than being found out for it. It is the same principle the product runs on: a declared exception preserves the record, a silent one destroys it.

Domokos is operated independently through Domokos Ádám EV, a registered Hungarian sole proprietorship. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated on behalf of any employer.
